"The greatest Days of Destiny lie ahead for the
Congregational Holiness Church and its evangelism and home
mission outreach to the United States. The United States
is the third largest mission field in the world. North America
is the only continent in the world where Christianity is not
growing. Yet in the midst of this vast mission field,
God has placed the Congregational Holiness Church as a bearer
of the glorious gospel of light. As young David gazed
across the battlefield where giant Goliath stood, he cried,
“Is there not a cause?” Our cause is the Great
Commission of Jesus Christ and the great mission field of
souls in the United States of America. The major goals
of the Mission USA Department are to strengthen existing
Congregational Holiness Churches and to equip them for all-out
evangelism, to assist in the establishment of new churches,
and to lovingly reach out to independent churches of like
precious faith who desire fellowship, accountability, and a
team ministry effort. Mission USA will promote
Compassionate Community Ministries among local Congregational
Holiness Churches. Mission USA will seek to involve all
credentialed Congregational Holiness Church ministers.
Through the Christian Education and Publication Departments,
our objectives are to train, equip, and disciple adults,
youth, and children for ministry in the Kingdom of God.
Youth and youth involvement will continue to be given a high
priority. Congregational Holiness Church youth are the
"Church of Today and the Leaders of Tomorrow". Mission
USA stands ready and willing to serve."
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT:
The Christian Education Department serves as a
Christian education and training resource for local churches
and districts of the Congregational Holiness Church throughout
the world. The Christian Education Department consists
of the following ministries: youth, children, Sunday school,
Bible literacy, singles, senior adults, leadership and
discipleship training, church growth, and church archives.
The Christian Education Department provides an active
continuing education program for all pastors and local church
leaders. A
Resource Center offers Christian education and Bible
reference resources at a low cost to churches and individuals.
Our overall goal is that every
Congregational Holiness Church will have a growing, vibrant,
life-changing youth ministry as well as an exciting, growing
Sunday School ministry that successfully communicates God's
life-changing Word to people of all ages. Our goal also is to
increase the level of Bible literacy among our churches as
people read, study, and apply the Bible to their lives.
