Damage Our General Headquarters Properties Sustained During the April 28, 2011 Tornado
Shortly after midnight, on April 28th, a devastating tornado swept through Spalding County Georgia. When the storm finally passed over, two people had tragically lost their lives in our county, not to mention the thousands of people who were also affected by the same storm system which swept across the southeastern United States. Untold millions of dollars of damage had been inflicted on those who survived. We were blessed that none of our people were injured, but the damage to our properties was massive. They have since deemed the General Headquarters building and the auxillary building immediately behind the office a total loss. Two of the homes are being repaired as of this writing, while the fate of the other home is still to be decided.
Hundreds of pictures have been posted on facebook, but since many of you do not have a facebook account, we are posting a few of the pictures here to keep you updated on what has happened, and where we are in the recovery and rebuilding process. On our homepage, as well as this page, a link is provided where you can send a donation if you have a paypal account. If you wish to send it via the postal service, the address will be listed below. We appreciate all those who have helped us, and who have pledged their ongoing support throughout the next several months. Thank you most of all for your love and prayers. If you have any questions, please give our General Headquarters a call. Even though we have moved our office to a temporary location, the phone numbers and address remain the same.
