Welcome CHC’s Newest Congregation Iglesia Pèntecostes Maranatha!

On Sunday, February 21, 2021, the CHC welcomed our newest church into our denomination, Iglesia Pèntecostes Maranatha. The church is located in downtown Crewe, Virginia, which is an hour west of Richmond, Virginia. The church is pastored by Joel Diaz Fernandez and was birthed in 2017. Originally the church began in a smaller building across the street from the current location. Growth demanded a larger facility, and the Lord provided the opportunity for the church to move into a larger building.

The special charter service began with anointed singing and praise from the worship team. The presence of the Lord filled the room with over fifty in attendance. Dr. Matthew Turner led the church in the official charter service, and great enthusiasm was on each face as the church officially joined the CHC family. Rev. Marvin Sosa, the Virginia Home Missions and Evangelism Director, assisted Dr. Turner by translating. A special moment filled with great anointing took place as the church partook in holy communion together. At the conclusion of the service, Pastor Joel and his family were presented with the official church charter certificate and his ordination certificate from the Virginia district.
