Friday, August 27, the CHC welcomed its newest congregation, Homeland CHC, located in Folkston, GA. Because of their proximity, they have joined
the Florida district of the CHC, and the leadership of the Florida district is thrilled with their addition. Many were in attendance at the official charter service, and the Spirit of the Lord covered the sanctuary. Interim Pastor Tommy Walker shared, "I believe that God has great things in store for us all as we move forward in the Lord and with the CHC."

The service began with Pastor Walker welcoming the congregation to the service and opened in prayer. Dr. Matthew Turner, the CHC Mission USA Administrator, then lead the congregation in devotion from Genesis 15. Rev. Karl Hall, the Florida District Evangelism and Home Missions Director, addressed the people and led them in reading the CHC Articles of Faith.

Following Rev. Hall, Dr. Turner led Homeland CHC in the covenant and charter for joining the denomination. To commemorate the special occasion, Dr. Turner presented Interim Pastor Tommy Walker with their CHC Charter Certificate. Members of Homeland had the opportunity to sign the charte

r membership roll, and to end the service, District Superintendent David Hodges addressed the crowd sharing his excitement for what the Lord has done at Homeland and for the district. Pastor Hodges also introduced the various members of Florida leadership in attendance, and they were given the opportunity to speak. As the service ended, there was great excitement and expectation as this new journey began.

Congratulations to the Homeland CHC! We ask all our CHC family to be in prayer for Pastor Tommy and the congregation's membership as they continue to follow the Lord!
